About Elvetham Heath Parish Council
Elvetham Heath Parish Council formally came into existence on 1st April 2010 and is made up of seven residents of Elvetham Heath who volunteer as Parish Councillors. Before 2010, services were provided by Hart District Council.
The Parish Council is responsible for provision and maintenance of many local amenities, including The Key Centre, tennis courts, allotments, children’s play areas, the village green and sports fields.
How much does Elvetham Heath cost?
Currently the total council precept stands at just over £156,000 per year. The costs of all its services are over £300,000, with prices continuing to rise, so any shortfall is covered by income from facility hire, grants and carefully managed reserves. The Council also resolved to leave hire changes at the current rate for 2024/25.

Parish Council Meetings
We have one formal meeting every month and attend others as and when the need arises. Meetings are open to the public and anybody is welcome to attend. There is a public session at the start of each meeting, where you are invited to raise questions. The minutes and agendas are published on this website, with the agenda being available on the website and on Parish Council noticeboards inside and outside The Key Centre.
If you have any problems which you think the Parish Council can help with, you don’t need to wait for a meeting. You can email the Parish Office or any Councillor directly.
As we have to live within three miles of Elvetham Heath to serve on the Parish Council, we hope we are well placed to understand the needs of our community.
