In conjunction with The Great British Spring Clean, residents came together in April and used their superpowers to give Elvetham Heath a spruce up for Spring!
The Great British Spring Clean is the nation’s biggest mass-action environmental campaign and litter-picking is a simple action that anyone can do. It makes an immediate and visible difference to the environment where we live, work and play.
Over 100 residents joined us in the sunshine and helped give Elvetham Heath a sparkling spring clean.
Together they collected 60 bags of rubbish including some traffic cones, car parts, signage, and glass bottles.
Our thanks also goes to Carol Ellis and Morrisons for kindly donating the cleaning materials, 100th Elvetham Heath Scouts for helping us on the day and Thames Water for their donation towards refreshments.
