Welcome to Elvetham Heath
Elvetham Heath has been awarded Hampshire Association of Local Council’s – Village of the Year for 2024. The judges commented that whilst Elvetham Heath is still relatively young, it has rapidly become a strong community with its own identity and sense of belonging. There is something for everyone at Elvetham Heath, and residents are proud of where they live.
Elvetham Heath is a thriving community, the hub of which is The Key: The Key Centre, The Church on the Heath, the village green, tennis courts, Morrisons supermarket and petrol station, Elvetham Heath Primary School, Elvetham Heath Day Nurseries and, last but not least, The De Havilland Arms. These facilities are surrounded by landscaped grounds and a nature reserve, all easily accessible via an extensive network of cycle paths and footpaths. Construction of Elvetham Heath began in the summer of 1999 and it was designed to create an appealing environment in which a new community could grow.
Elvetham Heath Parish Council formally came into existence on 1st April 2010 and is made up of residents of Elvetham Heath who volunteer as Parish Councillors. Before 2010, services were provided by Hart District Council.
